Executing the sustainability strategy: VNK’s conducts workplace safety training for all factory employees

As part of its commitment to sustainable development, VNK’s considers human development a key pillar in its long-term strategy. With this in mind, the company conducts quarterly occupational safety and hygiene training (ATVSLĐ) for all factory employees. This initiative not only enhances knowledge and risk prevention skills but also reflects the leadership’s deep commitment to the well-being and safety of its workforce.

1. Practical, targeted training program tailored to employee roles

The training program spans five days, divided into multiple sessions to suit different job groups and ensure that production schedules are not disrupted.

The content is designed by industry experts in mechanical engineering and occupational health, based on a curriculum approved by VNK’s and certified by the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs. The program covers four key areas:

1. Legal frameworks and national regulations on workplace safety

2. Operational knowledge of occupational safety and hygiene

3. Specialized training for specific job roles

4. Hands-on training directly at the workplace

Training durations range from 4 to 24 hours, depending on the employee’s role and exposure level. At the end of the program, all participants take an evaluation test to assess their comprehension and ability to apply the content in real-world scenarios.

2. Training drives positive change across the workforce

  • Outstanding participants were recognized and awarded official safety training certificates

The quarterly sessions not only help current employees stay updated on best practices, but also provide newer workers with essential foundational knowledge—ensuring both productivity and worker protection.
