- Ensure production targets are met.
- Develop and implement production plans.
- Manage performance, quality, and KPIs for the production team.
- Recruit, assess, and train production staff.
- Organize production meetings and monitor KPIs.
- Oversee production progress, ensure safety and quality compliance.
- Report production results and address issues promptly.
- Collect and analyze production data.
- Optimize processes to improve efficiency and product quality.
- Identify production risks and implement solutions.
- Collaborate with QA to ensure quality meets standards.
Job Requirements
1. Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Management, Engineering, Mechanics or related fields.
2. Relevant Knowledge/Expertise:
- Solid understanding of production processes, quality control, workforce, and machinery management.
- Strong knowledge of safety and environmental standards in manufacturing.
- Proficient in improvement methodologies such as Lean, Kaizen, and 5S.
3. Skills:
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Strong people management, work delegation, motivation, and coaching abilities.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective planning and time management skills.
- Proficient in office software and production management systems (ERP, MES, etc.).
4. Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in production at manufacturing plants.
- At least 1 year of experience in a production management position.
- Preference for candidates with experience in plastic or packaging manufacturing.
